Location: The Esplanade, Miami

The brief called for a bold form dedicated to a new era of Esplanade living which straddled the sea wall and set up a new axis along Kratzmann Avenue. The unit per floor living is view orientated to beach living and the penthouse commands 360 degree views of the Gold Coast hinterland.

The design responds to the sub-tropical environment through the use of overhanging window awning, which articulates the facade and allows the use of simple materials creating low refit and maintenance costs. The elegant interiors integrate with the exterior through the use of large window and balcony openings providing a breezeway through the centre of the building.
