The Iceworks concept began as a marketplace and residential community in the heart of the Paddington mixed use precinct. The design philosophy was to maximize the density of residential accommodation and retail/commercial space whilst remaining complementary to the residential fabric of suburban Paddington and the commercial edge of Given Terrace.

The mixed use development consists of 47 residential units and approximately 2000 sqm of retail/commercial space on a site that occupies a pivotal position at the junction between the active Caxton Street precinct and the heart of Paddington and marks the site as the gateway to the mixed use precinct of Given Terrace.

Through its composition and arrangement, this development has a local resonance that will influence future development patterns of Paddington.
