dongqian bridges (unbuilt)

Location: Dongqian Lake District, China

The Dongqian Bridges is a collaborative project with Urban Art Projects for the design of 89 bridges in the Dongqian Lake District, China. The objective of the bridge project is to ensure the client’s Dongqian Lake Resort will become a national and international travel and business destination. Bridge designs highlight picturesque waterways and scenic vantage points within the landscape. The project draws on traditional Chinese bridge-making techniques along with contemporary building methods and unique structures.
