Bruce recently joined bureau^proberts and was a founding Director of Gall & Medek Architects. He is the immediate past president of the Australian Institute of Architects – Queensland Chapter. During his career, Bruce has held senior positions in high-profile Brisbane practices and has brought award winning projects to fruition. He draws on a breadth of project experience in Australia, Asia and the UK and brings to the company in-depth knowledge of construction, industry practice and standards.

Bruce has experience as a team leader in commercial fit-out, residential and eco-tourism projects. A strong understanding of materials, inventiveness in technical detailing, and specialist knowledge of timber design and construction augment this.

Previous work undertaken for other practices both in Australia and overseas include tourist resorts, seniors units, childcare facilities, retail facilities, residential developments, private housing, conference centres and commercial office and retail fit-outs.
